Daniel's Story of Trying to Go from Gay to Straight

Daniel Gonzales skillfully creates funny, silly, searing videos and infographics exposing the ex-gay machine's duplicity. (You cannot imagine how much work we get done through instant messaging)

But this young man has a very serious story that he has filmed (with the help of Esteban) and posted on YouTube. His is a powerful story that reveals the many dangers one can encounter while pursuing an ex-gay route, including the danger of losing one's faith.

Raised in a Baptist home and now no longer a Christian, Daniel was a patient of NARTH founder, Joseph Nicolosi.

Such a strong story.
And once again, Peterson, you are an amazing person. What was qouted from "Fish canĀ“t fly" went straight to my heart. I love your ability to put the exact words to my thoughts and emotions. I wish I could have you in a little box and open when I needed inspiration. I had a real crappy day and you and Daniel just made it so much better. My blessings to both of you!

I dont think for me there is anything more heartrendingly tragic than seeing or hearing of Christians who have had their faith persecuted out of them by other Christians.
The odd thing for me as I grew up and realised who and what I was and what SOME Christians thought and said about such people - the more I felt such attempts at alienating me the more my faith was strengthened .

Somehow I felt my Saviour knew just how I felt -
It must have been pretty wierd, dontya think, growing up in a little village like Nazareth, but knowing you that you were more than a carpenters son. Knowing that no matter how much you laughed and played with the other kids you would never grow up to be quite like them : going to school - learning about 'girls', having a girlfriend , being one of the lads , all those things that go being a good Jewish male. You could share these things on one level - and yet know that this was not who you really were.

Sometimes I felt really alone - but at those times I seemed to feel a hug - as though someone was saying 'hey - I've been there - maybe for different reason- but dont worry - it'll be OK . Your'e OK : I love you even when you fear no-one can

Loved it!

One thing hit me - they obviously did not make you two (Daniel and Peterson) straight.
Isn't there a collectable refund for selling you something that obviously didn't work?
We could make them go into bankrupcy
